The Walking Talking Mock (WTM), is a process where our highly qualified 11+ Specialist Teacher completes an exam paper live and explains to a student audience the thinking that is going on behind each question and each answer.
It is an opportunity to actively teach students how to answer exam questions and improve their exam technique. Showing students how to take time over reading the information in a question or really using the language, diagrams and tables provided - explicitly discussing the thought process for each question and modelling calculations.
Our formal mock exams give students the opportunity to sit the paper in timed, exam conditions.
Our papers are perfectly aligned to the GL syllabus and don’t include any elements from the year 6 curriculum, mirroring the test papers students will sit on at the 11+ entrance examination.
Walking Talking Mock exams cost £38 and include full feedback.
Location
Walking Talking Mock Examinations will take place at the Courtenay Centre in the Grey Room, Kingsteignton Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 2QA.
