We offer 1:1 and group tuition for the new GL Torbay 11+ Entrance examination for children in both Year 5 and Year 4.
Sessions are available in Goodrington and Newton Abbot in our home classrooms.
We also offer home visits to tutees in Torquay.
We have a strong success rate from our tutoring and this year 100% of our tutees got ALL THREE ticks on their guidance letters!
Year 5 Superstars
We offer weekly group and 1:1 sessions for children in Year 5 to prepare them for sitting the 11+ in the second week of Year 6. The year’s course covers all elements of English and Maths needed. Children will be given their own Superstars bag and stationery as well as a homework book that includes everything tutees need for 11+ success. Tutees will be set regular but manageable homework to consolidate learning from our sessions with feedback and support for any misconceptions.
Year 4 Superstars
We also offer Running Start Superstar sessions for children in Year 4. If you want to give your child a head start on their 11+ journey, these fun filled sessions are for you! We will build our vocabulary by playing games and practise quick fire times tables and number facts. Children will be given their own Superstars bag and stationery as well as a homework book that includes everything tutees need for 11+ success.
